At Elite Open School (“EOS”), we take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how EOS may use our customers' personally identifiable information, including name, address, email address or credit card number ("Customer Information"). We gather this information from our customers in order to provide the best customer experience possible. Except as specifically described in this Privacy Policy, EOS does not sell, rent or share such Customer Information with third parties.

We comply strictly with applicable laws and regulations, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. We have no intention of collecting any personally identifiable information from individuals under 13 years of age who are not registered with a parent created account. What Customer Information does EOS collect?

Certain Customer Information is needed whenever you choose to use EOS services. Our objective in collecting Customer Information is to provide our customer with an optimal experience using EOS Service. The Customer Information we request is relevant to the specific service you are using. For example, we collect credit card and billing information when you enroll for course offerings. When ordering online courses from EOS, we require customer name, credit card, billing information.

 

Does EOS ever share Customer Information?

EOS shares Customer Information with third parties (for example, credit card authorization companies, photo processing labs, etc.) who facilitate us running EOS Service and Site. Your Customer Information is provided to these third parties solely for the purpose of providing you such services. These third parties only use your Customer Information as necessary to provide you with EOS Service. EOS may disclose Customer Information if required so by law, or to protect our rights or property. Excluding the previously mentioned circumstances, EOS will not sell, rent or share Customer Information with a third party without your knowledge and consent. Business partners of EOS do not have access to your individual account information.

 

Does EOS use "IP Addresses" and cookies?

We use IP addresses to help us identify problems with our servers and to manage our website. We do not intentionally link your IP address to your personally identifiable information. We use cookies so that our servers can recognize or "remember" who you when you make return visits to our website. EOS cookies are not tied to any personally identifiable information. We use cookies in order to know who you are after you log in, so that we can present you with the right set of albums in your password-protected account.

 

How does EOS protect customer information?

Your Customer Information on our Service is password-protected. We strongly recommend that you do not give your password to anyone that you do not know and trust. You may edit your EOS account information by using your EOS member name and password.

 

If you are using a public or shared computer, we strongly recommend that you sign out of your EOS account and close your browser when you are done using your account. This will prevent others from accessing your account and personal information. EOS employs SSL - an encryption and security technology -- to protect your Customer Information. We understand that this is especially important when there is an exchange of credit card, billing and password information. In addition, we limit access of Customer Information to only those employees who need it to carry out their jobs.

We may update and amend this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy from time to time.

 

Legally Required Disclosures

EOS may be required, by applicable law, subpoena, court order or other legal process to disclose your personal identifiable information, we will act in accordance with our legal counsel’s advice and handle each matter on a case-by-case basis.

 

Notification of Change.

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner that is materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our web site notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice, we will also email users who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
